From the blind in the Marsh or in a small water pond, you hear overhead the sound of hundreds of wings of teal early in the morning before sunlight!, then later in the morning is big ducks time, we take pride of having the Best PINTAIL SHOOTING IN THE WORLD, the most often comment from returning guests is "unbelievable"!
Hunts take place in perfectly built blinds, with professional guides over decoys. We duck hunt on fresh water ponds as well as the famous Laguna Madre, where vast marshlands throughout the area provide ideal roosting conditions and the lack of predators and very small number of hunters accounts for the large duck population. Marsh bugies, A TV' s and custom shallow water boats are used for transportation and to navigate this waters.
The incredible abundance of waterfowl, combined with a superb staff, a very clean and functional Lodge and the ABILITY TO HUNT IN PRIVATE LAND ensures a trip that will exceed your expectations.
3 Full days of Hunting
* Itinerary *
Day 1
- Mid Morning arrival at Harlingen, Tx Airport. Your group will be met by your host and transferred to the Lodge (2 Hrs Drive ). Once you are settled you will enjoy an afternoon duck hunt on the open water, in the marsh.
Day 2- 3
- Enjoy 2 full days of duck hunting over decoys. After your morning shoot, it's back to the Lodge for lunch followed by your afternoon duck hunt. Evenings will find you at the Lodge enjoying a gourmet dinner complemented by beverages.
Day 4
- Enjoy one morning of duck hunting.
- Van transportation will be provided to the airport in Harlingen, Tx. for commercial evening flight back to your destination.
